I am a compensated ambassador for the New England Auto Show. #ToyotaBoston
I’m always amazed at what the auto industry is up to when I head to the auto show, and this year didn’t disappoint! As a guest of Toyota and She Buys Cars, we got an in-depth review of what’s new in Toyota, including the brand new Toyota Prius Prime. I’d love to own a Prius some day when my minivan/child hauler days are over! 🙂
New from Toyota
The new Prius Prime (plug-in hybrid) has some very cool features including an 11.9 inch touch-enabled screen in the center console, remote charging and cabin temperature control from your smart phone and the ability to schedule charging times. With an EPA estimated 640 mile total driving range (133 mpg) and a starting MRSP of $27,100 this is definitely a hybrid to take a close look at!
Grappone Automotive Group
After checking out the whole Toyota line-up, we had lunch with Amanda Grappone Osmer (from Grappone Automotive Group) to learn more about running their unique dealership that embraces many environmentally friendly practices, as well as having up-front pricing and a non-commissioned sales staff. It was so fun to hear about this fourth-generation family owned business and their work with Five Rivers Conservation Trust too!
We ended the afternoon with Lexus, checking out their GORGEOUS new GS hybrid and their line-up of cars that can impress on the road AND on the track! Now if only I could afford one! 🙂 If you love cars or are in the market for a new one, don’t miss the New England International Auto Show. It’s a great no-pressure environment to research cars from all of the major auto manufacturers!
