If you are local and looking for something fun to do with the kids to celebrate Halloween, check out PRU BOO at the Prudential Center in Boston. Because Halloween falls on a Saturday (our busiest day of the week), I was excited to find out that this year’s PRU BOO is on Sunday, October 25. We will be heading up to Beantown this weekend to get our Halloween on and enjoy some city time.
If you haven’t heard of PRU BOO, it’s a great family Halloween event that partners with a different non-profit each year. This year the non-profit partner for PRU BOO is Room to Grow. Room to Grow helps families in poverty with babies support their little ones during the critical first three years of life. Families received support, equipment, and other services needed to make sure their infants/toddlers are given the best start possible.
So how do you take part in PRU BOO? Here are the details:
WHAT: Trick or treating (at over 50 participating stores and restaurants!) and LOTS of fun activities including face painting, magic shows, cookie decorating and much more!
WHEN: Sunday, October 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At 1:30 pm., there will be a kids Concert with Vanessa Trien in the South Garden (weather permitting). Rain location: Belvidere Pavilion.
WHERE: The Shops at Prudential Center, Center-wide! You can walk shop to shop to collect Halloween treats and participate in fun activities along the way! You can grab your trick or treat bag after October 1st at the Customer Service Desk or the day of the event starting at 9:00 a.m.
PARKING: You can pick up a discounted parking pass on the day of the event at one of the check-in stations. The discounted rate is $16 for the day.
My family and I will be participating in the VIP Experience at PRU BOO 2015.
