I had a beautiful long run this weekend with my running partner. We met early in the morning and ran up to Falmouth Heights and then back along the water. It was such a gorgeous morning, and it was nice to kick off ZOOMA Cape Cod training! If you still haven’t registered yet, do so before it sells out– you can use the code “JESSICAM15” for 10% off either race distance (there’s a 10k and a half marathon).
The week after July 4th, the family and I will be headed back to Water Country for our second year in a row! I am crossing my fingers for good weather this year–it was so nice and sunny last year! Located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Water Country covers 26 acres, with New England’s largest wave pool (700,000 gallons) and so many fun water activities for the whole family!
One of our favorites last year was the 1/4 mile float on Adventure River. There’s also a great area for smaller kids, where they can ride their first water slide on Ollie Octopus and splash around in the Tahiti Tree House. We had one of the pool suite cabanas last year near the Pirate Lagoon, but there are now cabanas near the Giant Wave Pool too.
You can make reservations by clicking HERE. New for this year is electronic lockers, a refurbished Tahiti Tree House, and new additions to the menu at Water Country’s various eating establishments. [Tweet “Save $3 on general admission to @WaterCountry http://shout.lt.4qq4”]
