My growth ultrasound on Friday went great–apparently it’s not necessarily to check weight (although they do), but to make sure that baby is still developing appropriately and on schedule. Baby Morrison is still in the 60th percentile for weight and got an 8/8 for scoring, so looking good! I am also excited that we made it through the last ultrasound of the pregnancy without discovering the gender! 😉
Over the weekend we enjoyed the beautiful weather by hiking with the whole family in tow. Saturday was absolutely gorgeous with temps in the upper 40s. You would have thought it was the 60s by the way people were outside in droves and relishing the warmth! We went to Peterson Farm on Saturday to do some hiking and check out the animals (they have sheep, a lama, and some chickens). We saw two little lambs, but I am sure there were more inside. The boys love going here because it’s a great wide open space to run, and there are also numerous wooded trails (which connect to Beebe Woods).
Yesterday we did some more painting and then went to Wing Pond to hike and enjoy the woods and cranberry bogs. This time we also brought our greyhound, Holly. She loved getting to hike with the family too. It was so nice to enjoy the weather on both days and get some exercise. Although I wish I could have run (I was plotting trail runs for post-baby!), just walking felt so good. I have been trying to make a concerted effort to keep my aerobic activity up in preparation for labor. I am going to try my darndest to go natural this time, and I have been reading up a lot on helpful preparation tips!
How was YOUR weekend??
