If you’re like me, when you started having children you began to very carefully inspect every product you used for them and every ingredient you put into their little bodies. I was shocked by how many different ingredients are listed in many of the products on drug store shelves that are marketed to babies and children.
Many are chemicals and compounds that I can’t even pronounce! Babies and children are much smaller that we are, so they are more sensitive to many of these unnatural and unhealthy additives. Their skin is sensitive, so unnecessary ingredients can cause irritation and redness exactly where they don’t need it! 🙂
Thankfully there are natural alternatives, so why not choose something that’s chemical free and only contains 2 ingredients?! Since my sister has used WaterWipes since the birth of my niece, I was excited to be able to pick them up on a recent run to Walgreens.
About WaterWipes
WaterWipes have only 2 ingredients: Irish water (99.9%) and grapefruit seed extract (0.1%). It doesn’t get much more simple than that; and with the sheer number of baby wipes we use in this house, it’s something I can definitely feel good about! So, do they really work as well as other brands?
In my opinion, the answer is a definite yes! They are durable and hold up well for cleaning up not so pleasant diaper messes, grubby hands and snotty noses! At our local Walgreens, I found them in single packs and a 4-pack value size (240 wipes). I have now stashed them in the boys’ rooms and in the van, so I’m prepared for whatever yuckiness the fall season sends my way (in addition to diaper changes!).
You can find WaterWipes at your local Walgreens in the baby care section, and 5 lucky people will win a $100 Walgreens gift card to grab their own WaterWipes. Just enter your information into the widget below:
