I recently decided to start doing a Training Tips newsletter that I will send out on the first of every month–look for the first edition in September. My goal for this monthly newsletter is to provide tips on training, racing, gear, and nutrition. In other running-related news, I mentioned on the 30 Something Mother Runner Facebook page last night that I will be interviewing Stephanie Rothstein next weekend at the Falmouth Road Race (her husband is racing). Stephanie is an elite mother runner (she just had a baby in June!). I would love your input on questions you would like to ask Stephanie. I did a tempo run on Wednesday with a 2 mile warm up and 3 miles at 8:53, followed by a 1 mile cool down. I felt good, even though my legs were still a little sore from Monday’s speed work! 😉 This weekend I have an 8-mile long run on tap and hopefully a fun run with my 6-year old, who has been asking to run with me for a few weeks now! We are running the Main Street Mile together in a few weeks, so I think we definitely need to get out for a training session. I am also dying to test out the Joovy Zoom 360 jogging stroller that arrived on my doorstep the other day! I will be posting a full review in the coming weeks!
