I am super excited to head up to the Boston Ballet Nutcracker on Sunday (with the boys) at the Boston Opera House. I used to LOVE going to see the Nutcracker each year as a young girl. As a young ballerina, I was always enthralled with the talent, set, and costumes during the Boston Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker. It was definitely a highlight of our holiday season. We would get all dressed up and head to the city. I am excited for the opportunity to share it with my boys this year.
We will be attending a story hour at the Boston Ballet studio, having lunch, and then heading over to the Boston Opera House for the performance. If you are interested in taking the family to one of the Boston Ballet’s free interactive story hours (in the Boston area), you can find more information HERE. It’s a great way to learn more about the performance and get into the holiday spirit–especially if you have a budding ballerina!
If you would like a sneak peek at the performance, you can find a clip HERE, in addition to the Top Ten Reasons to See the Nutcracker this season. Don’t forget to check out the Boston Ballet on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr.
