After making an appearance last weekend and again today, I think the running tights might be here to stay for the season. Today was a GORGEOUS fall day, but it was definitely chilly. Although I could have probably gotten away with a short-sleeve, I was happy about the choice to wear running tights.

I got in a nice 8-miler thanks to my MIL who came up to watch the kids since my husband is on a business trip. Love her (I really do!)! She comes up once a week (from the Cape) to watch the boys so I can teach/tutor). I then did my civic duty and voted (kid-free!).
It was nice to get outside before our next storm arrives tomorrow. Supposedly the Nor’easter has weakened somewhat recently, but we should still get some high winds and rain—mostly likely no snow here!
As much as I loved my run today, it made me kind of sad that I will probably not get to run outside until next week, since my husband will be out-of-town this weekend too. No childcare=running inside at the Y both days of the weekend! Well, at least I get to run!
The other lovely thing that happened last night was that my 2-year old went to bed at 6:45 and my 4 year-old was asleep at 7! Jackpot! It was unbelievable to be able to kick back and relax earlier than usual, though I did succumb to watching some election coverage…I knew I wouldn’t be able to stay up late enough to catch the final results!
I am still holding out on full-length tights, although I have been in capris a few times now. It seems early to have to pull them out, doesn’t it?
Good luck with the indoor running. I’ve been in your shoes many times!
