After having three kids and lugging around a 22 pound six-month old, I would say that my back has seen better days! Back Joy recently approached me to take part in one of their holiday campaigns, and I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Help for my aching back–yes please! 🙂 This holiday season BackJoy has started the Give Back, Spread Joy campaign to help provide much-needed back pain-relief products to chronic pain and rehabilitation centers that serve veterans, like the Wounded Warrior Project and UC Denver Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
In exchange for trying out some products, and sharing them with you, BackJoy will make a donation to provide the above mentioned supplies for veterans. Supporting our nations veterans is a cause that I believe very strongly in, so I was more than happy to oblige! I tried out the PostureWear Sports Bra ($89.99), Sit Smart Posture Plus ($49.99), and the Stress-combatting Roller Balls ($12.99) (because you can never get enough stress relief!).
I have been using the Sit Smart Posture Plus on my office chair. I originally thought it might not feel comfortable, but surprisingly it feels really good! Since I do spend time sitting at my desk working, I might as well keep my back in alignment! I love the PostureWear sports bra, and I wore it for the GORE-TEX Philadelphia Half Marathon! It provided great support for the girls, and I’m sure it prevented some serious posture slumping as I got tired in the second half of the race! The Stress-combatting Roller Balls are great to use when sitting in a high-backed chair or while stretching on the ground.
Anyone who uses the #GiveBackJoy hashtag and shares how they are giving back this holiday season will also be entered to win a sweet prize pack of self-care products from BackJoy!
30 Something Runner received the above items in exchange for this review. BackJoy will also donate $100 in my name to one of the above mentioned institutions.
