We spent another beautiful weekend on the Cape (well starting Saturday afternoon!). We had originally planned to stay in Providence and go out to dinner with friends on Saturday night, but childcare fell through, so we headed to the Cape.
I convinced Clarke to go for another run with me on Saturday before dinner. It was a GORGEOUS 7-miler—we ran a little further than planned to catch the sunset at Old Silver Beach. I love running in the evening, but I just don’t get to do it often enough!
I tested out my new headlamp (thanks Clarke!) on our run, and it was surprisingly comfortable. I didn’t mind wearing it too much, and I know how much it helps with keeping you visible to drivers when road running.
We got back and had a great dinner and cake for my MIL’s birthday. On Sunday morning, I got up and ran 10 miles from North Falmouth to the center of Falmouth. It was beautiful on the bike path—a slight breeze, but still in the mid-40s.
After my run, we did some measuring at our soon-to-be new house. We are redecorating the boys’ room first, so we had to measure for wallpaper, etc. I am getting so excited to move into the new space! We are going to have so much more room, a beautiful neighborhood, and Grammy right next door!
I just finished up a 37-mile week and am still feeling great! So excited to start training for some races again!
Sounds like a perfect weekend to me! Getting into a new house is so much fun. Congrats!
Great job on the 37-mile week!!!!
