Return of the “Snot Sucker” aka Nosefrida

Uncategorized

Cold season has officially struck the Morrison household. I am currently the last woman standing, and I’m hoping to stay that way! My three sons (ha ha, I still love saying that!) and my husband have become afflicted with the latest cold going around. It sports a mild fever, extreme congestion and runny nose, and a nice little cough. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Nosefrida

Well, I pretty much didn’t sleep the night before because poor William got his first cold. 🙁 Anyone who knows William will tell you that he smiles ALL the time, and he’s a very happy baby. Well, yesterday you could just tell that the poor guy wasn’t feeling it. He had red, watery eyes and a nose that wouldn’t stop running. Thank GOD for the NoseFrida. I swear–if you want one piece of truly useful baby/toddler medical equipment (in addition to a thermometer), you should get the NoseFrida!

We affectionately refer to the NoseFrida as the Snot Sucker or Boogie Extractor in our family (perfect for a family of boys). Be warned– when you first see this device, you might be confused and even throw up a little in your mouth. Be patient, I swear it works- like it really works! Your mouth will never come in contact with snot, and your baby will be much happier using the NoseFrida than having a blue bulb aspirator tip shoved up his/her nose. You just place the tip of the NoseFrida outside of the nostril and forcefully inhale. Out will come lots of snot and congestion (and a happier baby/toddler!).

So, please take my word for it and get one of these babies–you won’t regret it!
