The definition of a healthy lifestyle is different for everyone and is likely to change over the course of your life. Our health goals might be spiritual, social, emotional, physical or mental. The steps I take towards a healthy lifestyle today are not the same as what I did when I was in my 20s (if I did anything!). As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to appreciate the value of taking small steps each day including taking my Nature’s Bounty vitamins!
I used to feel like I had to work out every day of the week, or at a minimum of five days a week to be “healthy.” Now I think of living a healthy lifestyle as having the energy to power me through a busy day of work and caring for the kids, being able to keep up with the boys when we’re playing outside and feeling strong (strength training has become A LOT more important to me!).
As a working mom of 3 busy boys, working out every day isn’t sustainable for me right now, so I focus on getting my butt to the gym to do circuit training two or three times a week and I get my cardio in throughout the day. It might be playing with the kids, walking them to and from school or vigorously cleaning the house and going up and down the stairs a million times!
My point in sharing this with you is to remind you to be kind to yourself and not have unrealistic expectations. Speaking as a mom, we are stretched in so many different directions and we can feel like we’re not always measuring up. Take a step back and look at what you ARE doing for self-care and to keep yourself healthy. If you can commit to parking farther away from work and getting some extra cardio time in, do it or maybe it’s eating a healthier breakfast on weekdays. You get the picture!
Another small thing I do each day is to take my vitamins and supplements! I take a Nature’s Bounty multi-vitamin gummy and probiotic since gut health is connected to so many other systems in the body* and it’s very important to me!

Nature’s Bounty Products I Take Each Day
I take several Nature’s Bounty products (they have 50 years producing quality vitamins and supplements!) each morning to maintain my healthy lifestyle:
Adult Multi-Gummy
Who doesn’t love gummies? 🙂 Two of these gummies each morning provides me with 100% of the Daily Value of four B vitamins, Vitamin C and Vitamin D! They help keep me energized for the day while supporting immune and bone health.*
Ultra Strength Probiotic10
As I mentioned above, probiotics are really important for me to keep my gut healthy and they also play an important role in immune function.* Nature’s Bounty probiotic contains a whopping 20 BILLION live probiotic cultures that include 10 probiotic strains!
Melatonin
We recently returned from a 10-day trip to Hawaii and jet lag was a MAJOR problem for me. Thankfully I had Nature’s Bounty Melatonin on hand to help me get back on schedule. Melatonin can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer and it’s great for occasional sleeplessness and jet lag!*
Other Great Nature’s Bounty Products that Can Help Support Your Health
I don’t take fish oil daily or Lutein Blue, but they are two other supplements that you may want to consider adding to your daily regimen:
Fish Oil
Fish oil can help support cardio and circulatory health.* Nature’s Bounty Fish Oil supplements contain 360mg of Omega-3s and may help reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.*
Lutein Blue
Lutein Blue is a VERY cool supplement that contains Lutemax® 2020, a clinically studied formula to support eye health.* Most of us are exposed to a lot of high-energy blue light from digital devices which may induce oxidative stress to our eyes. Nature’s Bounty Lutein Blue supplement may help filter this damaging blue light.*
