How is it May already?! I know I say that every year, but seriously– it sneaks up on you! We have had a lot of rain and cooler temperatures here lately, so it hasn’t felt much like summer; but I know it’s not far away, so I just picked up a new bathing suit from prAna for the season!
For the past few seasons I have been living in a one piece or tankini, but this year I took a leap and chose a bikini!. I admit that it can be hard to find the right swimsuit– especially when ordering it online, but I am in LOVE with the prAna suit I got last season, so I went for it again this year! You can order your own and save 15% off (of swimsuits or any regularly priced items on the website!) with code WHOLES17SMR.
My prAna Swimsuit for Summer
I opted for the Dreaming Swim Top in Sunlit Coral Riviera and the Ramba bottom in Sunlit Coral Riviera. I can’t get enough of the print, since it’s got all of my favorite colors in it! I think the back of the Dreaming Top is beautiful, and it’s definitely a departure from what I would normally get. I am enjoying the fact that it looks really interesting (LOVE the back!), but also fits well and doesn’t feel too revealing. I can’t wait to hit the beach in it this summer!
Prepping for Swimsuit Season with Stonyfield Organic Greek Yogurt!
In the meantime, I am continuing to get myself in shape from winter hibernation; and that has included bringing back some strength training and paying closer attention to what I’m eating. Rather than fueling up on straight carbs, I have been eating snacks that are balanced with some more protein. One of my go-to snacks is Stonyfield Organic Whole Milk Greek yogurt with fruit. I like the plain flavor with a little bit of honey for sweetness! It keeps me filled up and fueled up for afternoon workouts!
Are you prepping for bathing suit season or is it already swim season where you are?
