Well, the weather was nothing to write home about this past weekend, although Monday did turn out to be beautiful. Since it was chilly and rainy on Saturday, we decided to go look at cars. Back story: we took our van to get serviced last week and found out it needed $3,000 worth of work (it has 142,000 miles on it)!
Instead of paying for repairs, we wound up buying another Toyota Sienna! I had been searching online, since we knew what we wanted, and we found a perfect match in Boston.
It’s AWD like our current one and only has 19,000 miles on it, and bonus—it has a DVD player! I can’t wait to get it later this week!! On Sunday, I helped sell lobster rolls and fresh squeezed lemonade at a fundraiser for the boys’ school. It was in the 50s and raw—good times! Despite the weather, we sold almost all of the lobster salad (the lemonade didn’t fare so well!).
Monday was a yard work day and pizza from my favorite place, Stone L’Oven. It’s so nice having a yard—I don’t even mind mowing it! I did run, but definitely haven’t been running as much as of late. We have just been so busy with home renovations and moving stuff.
I keep waiting to get my life back on track!
