This week’s menu contains several recipes from the latest issue of Savory that I picked up last week at Stop and Shop. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s FREE and a little treasure trove of recipes, helpful cooking tips and some coupons too! Many of the recipes are quick to prepare and contain a mix of pre-prepped items to make meal time easier. I can’t wait to try the Spring Roll Noodle Bowl!
Monday: Spring Roll Noodle Bowl with quick peanut sauce. This looks DELICIOUS, sort of like a lettuce wrap in a bowl. The boys loved lettuce wraps last time we did them, so I’m hoping they like this recipe just as well!
Tuesday: Tortellini with Pesto and Roasted Veggies with garlic bread and salad.
Wednesday: Chicken Soup with Lemon and Rice. I have always loved the combo of chicken and lemon (think Chicken Piccata!), so this recipe caught my eye (and taste buds) right away. We have been eating soup a lot lately, and it’s such a hearty, warming meal to have during winter!
Thursday: Sesame Beef Meatballs with Noodles. All 3 boys LOVE lo mein, so I think this take on lo mein, with a meatball twist, will be a welcome addition to our recipe box!
Friday: Thai Chicken Flatbread Pizza with salad.
