This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mambo Sprouts Affiliates for Simply Organic – A Brand of Frontier Co-op. All opinions, writing, and photographs are my own.

Pasta usually appears at least once a week on the menu in our home, and one of my favorite things to serve alongside it is homemade garlic bread. While you can buy prepared ready-to-bake garlic bread at the store, it’s SO MUCH better when you make it fresh at home!

Tuscan Seasoning
Simply Organic Tuscan Seasoning

There are many different seasoning combinations to use on your garlic bread, but my new favorite is the Tuscan Seasoning from Simply Organic. This seasoning combination includes organic oregano, organic thyme, organic garlic, organic basil, organic black pepper, sea salt, organic bell pepper, organic tarragon, and organic chives. Its robust flavor is a perfect accompaniment for many pasta dishes. Read on to make your own Tuscan Garlic Bread…

Tuscan Garlic Bread

You can use Italian bread, French bread or Ciabatta for your garlic bread. My favorite is Ciabatta because all of its nooks and crannies are perfect for soaking up butter and seasonings! Cut the loaf of bread in half. I usually make a half a loaf at a time, so I will freeze the unused half for later. Slice butter into medium-sized pats (I use unsalted butter) and spread them out over the bread.

You can use as much (or as little!) butter as you like. Sprinkle the Tuscan Seasoning mix evenly over the bread and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until the edges are browned. I really wanted to take a picture of the finished product, but it was gone shortly after it hit the table! 😉

I love the idea of adding the tuscan seasoning to the garlic bread. I’m not sure why I never thought of adding more flavors to my garlic bread. Thanks!
