Let the Extracurricular Activities Begin!

PARENTING

Until now, I have escaped the rush of afterschool and/or weekend sports activities. I can now officially say I am a soccer mom! Smile I did try to limit the number of activities we signed up for, so that things don’t get too crazy.

In addition to soccer on Saturdays, we have swimming Saturday and art class on Wednesday after school. Having soccer at 9 and swim at 11 did make things a little hectic, but Dairy Queen afterwards seemed to sweeten the deal!

Bubble BumThe one challenge we are having is that my three-year old doesn’t understand why he can’t play soccer yet Sad smile He cried a lot during the first practice because he just wanted to be on the field with his brother—it was so sad!

The guy that runs the program took pity on him and gave him a pair of shin guards, so now he plays soccer with my husband while he’s watching his big bro from the sidelines…

We have been shuttling both boys around a lot with school and activities, I recently received a super cool product to test out that has made this a lot easier! It’s called the Bubble Bum (love the name!) and it’s a portable (and collapsible) booster seat.

I love that there is now an easy solution for making sure you child always has a booster seat for carpools, sleepovers, etc. The booster seat is for children 4-11 (40-100 lbs.) and easily folds flat, so you can put it in their backpack or in your purse! You can find out more about the Bubble Bum HERE.

30 Something Mother Runner received a Bubble Bum for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
