Like many of you with children, I am often the sherpa for family outings. Can you carry ____ for me? Where’s my ____? Did you pack ____? I was doing some research when I came across the Kulkea Powder Trekker bag, and I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I reached out to this local (Westwood, MA) company, and they graciously provided me with a Powder Trekker to take to the slopes this winter!
Great Storage for Boots, Helmet, and Much More!
As soon as I received it, I took it out of the box and started exploring the many storage areas. It’s AMAZING how many storage compartments are in this bag. It comfortably fits your ski boots and so much more.
Boots aren’t the only piece of equipment you can store in this lightweight bag– it has a retractable sling for your helmet. Keeping the helmet outside of the bag saves interior space and allows it to air out (perfect after a long day of skiing!).
The Open Pack Design™ features a large wide-mouthed main pocket, which allows you to unzip a flap and immediately see all of your gear—great for when you need to quickly find or stow an extra shirt, hat, etc.
You even have a soft-lined pocket on top of the bag for your ski goggles. Since the Powder Trekker will likely not be the only thing you will be carrying to the mountain, it has backpack grade support.
The straps are reinforced, comfortable, padded and adjustable. You will also find webbing loops for carabiners and other gear you want to clip on.
You can throw the Powder Trekker down wherever you are without worrying about water damage to interior goods, since Kulkea uses high quality tarpaulin on the bottom, sides, front and back of the Powder Trekker from protection for water and to make the bag extra durable.
The Powder Trekker comes in four different color combinations: teal/grey, blue/grey, black/white/red. and black/white/pink (the one I have and LOVE!).
