30 Something Mother Runner received a Women’s Wave Longsleeve for consideration in this article.
I found Janji several years ago at a race expo, and I loved their cute designs and socially conscious mission. They have continued to grow as a company, and you have likely seen them in Runner’s World or other running publications! They recently came out with a new line focused entirely on Kenya.
Janji Mombasa Line
The new Mombasa line features beautiful tanks, long sleeves, tees and track pants inspired by the coastal city of Mombasa, the second largest city in Kenya.

About Janji
The inspiration for the company came to its founders (Mike Burnstein and Dave Spandorfer) after racing during a particularly hot day. They stopped to consider the importance of water and the fact that so many others in the world don’t have access to it. In fact, 1 in 10 people in the world lack access to clean drinking water!
To help improve access to clean water, the company donates 10% of the sale of each piece of apparel to provide drinking water to people in countries around the world from Kenya to Rwanda to Haiti to Peru. Does it get any better than buying beautiful (and comfortable!) running clothes and helping others at the same time?!
Where to Find
You can shop online or at their pop-up store on Newbury Street in Boston (opening September 22 for 9 months).
