We are in the midst of our first big snow storm of the 2014 season. It kind of makes me laugh that people get all up in arms about these storms—I mean we do live in New England and it snows here!
Yesterday my sister and I went out for a nice 4-mile walk. Even though it was pretty chilly, we saw so many runners and walkers trying to get in a good workout before the snow arrived! I guess that was kind of our idea too! My sister is supposed to fly back to Cali later this evening, but I think that might not be happening…
I am craving some kind of return to normalcy after all of the festivities. I started organizing the boys’ playroom again to make it easier for them to put things away and store all of their new toys. I think a clandestine toy purge is going to have to occur in the near future!
I have been looking for a local place to donate gently used toys, but haven’t found much around here. If you are a local reader (Cape Cod), let me know if you have any ideas!
Oooo I hope you are warm and bundled up!! You’re right though – if we choose to live in New England we need to be ready for the snow!
You too Mary! 🙂
