I am beyond excited that I FINALLY got my husband to join the gym! While I do love working out on my own, I am so happy to have my partner in crime along with me at the gym. 🙂 With 3 young boys, we don’t get out nearly as often as we would like! One of our new favorite dates, that we can do when the boys are in school, is hit the gym! Sometimes we even get adventurous and go for coffee afterward. It’s been great motivating my husband to workout and he’s been feeling A LOT better now that he’s back into a regular fitness routine!
We generally warm up on the cardio machines together and then head off for our strength training workouts. It’s so nice always having someone to spot you
or take social media pictures for you! One of the exciting things about recommitting to strength training and regular gym visits is that I have an excuse to shop for some more gym apparel. After a little online shopping trip to adidas.com. I’m stocked up with some workout gear essentials!
As I mentioned in previous posts, I am SO in love with high-waisted leggings, so I grabbed the Believe This High-Rise 3/4 tights in Dark Grey Heather. The neutral grey goes with just about every one of my workout tops! They are super comfy for cardio and weight lifting and are very flattering with the wider waistband.
I paired the high-rise tights with the Crossback Tank Top in Medium Grey Heather– they make the perfect combo. The tank is loose fitting, so it’s a nice contrast with the tights and I love the open back design (perfect for a sweaty gym sesh!). I rounded out my outfit with the adidas Cloudfoam Pure Shoes in Core Black, featuring a stretchy mesh liner and memory foam sockliner. They’re perfect for light cardio at the gym or for strength training.
