Gray-Away-Temporary-Root-Concealer-Spray

This post is sponsored by Everpro Gray Away. All of the thoughts and opinions are my own. #GrayAway #NoMoreGrayDays

I got my first gray hair at 24, and I can remember the day like it was yesterday! I was headed back to San Diego (where I lived at the time), and I stopped in the airport bathroom to freshen up after a connecting flight. As I looked in the mirror, in the extremely unforgiving fluorescent bathroom lighting, I saw a silver strand and panicked.

How was I getting gray hair at 24?! Thankfully, I didn’t have much more until my thirties, but I swear that my third boy has put me over the edge. In fact, I don’t even know what my real hair color is anymore since I have it colored every seven weeks. It’s an expense I’m just not willing to give up at this point. I probably need to go every six weeks, but I stretch it out!

By the fifth or sixth week, you can see the roots showing through. Thankfully, I found a product at Walgreen’s called Gray Away, which is a temporary root concealer that covers up the gray until I make it to the salon!

Whether you just have a few grays or you want to stretch out your time between colorings, Gray Away will blend into your natural color and wash out with shampoo! You can choose either the temporary root concealer spray or a root touch-up magnetic powder. Simply find the shade of brown that best matches your natural hair color and you’re good to go!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well it covered my grays and blended in with the “natural” color of my hair! It will definitely be in my toiletry kit for those between coloring days and special occasions! Take a look at my before and after photos below:
