Caring for my 3 boys and working from home keeps me VERY busy during the days, so I’m always looking for things that help me maintain my healthy lifestyle AND save time. I’m often so busy, I forget to eat my own lunch! Good Food Made Simple frozen meals came to the rescue! I no longer have to worry about not having enough time to get a “real food” lunch (or dinner) prepped for myself or my husband.
Good Food Made Simple
Good Food Made Simple recognized that our busy lives can sometimes get in the way of eating healthy, and they wanted to help! By producing a line of frozen meals made with real, wholesome ingredients we can feel good about, we can get something on the table in a pinch!
The company started in 2011 with frozen oatmeal and expanded to other breakfast items. In 2014, the line expanded to include yummy items like macaroni and cheese and pulled pork burritos. Most recently, Good Food Made Simple unveiled tasty entrée bowls that include:
- Buffalo Style Chicken
- Cavatappi Bolognese
- Chicken Black Bean
- Chicken Enchiladas Verdes
- Chicken Pad Thai
- Hatch Chili Mac (my favorite!)
- Lasagna Bolognese
- Lemon Chicken
- Steak Black Bean
- Thai Style Chicken
- Three Pepper Beef
- Turkey Meatball
The Ingredients
What really sets the Good Food Made Simple frozen meals apart from the rest of the pack is the quality of the ingredients used. Meals include cage-free eggs, hormone-free meat, real cheese and organic and non-GMO products (whenever possible). Things you won’t find in Good Food Made Simple meals are artificial preservatives, colors, flavors and sweeteners, in addition to hydrogenated oils.
Why These Are the Only Frozen Meals I Will Eat
One of my biggest arguments with frozen meals is that they never really feel satisfying. I was so happy to find Good Food Made Simple meals, because they are actually filling! They are full of flavor, and not bland like many other frozen meals I have tried. Lastly, I love that their ingredients mirror what I use in my kitchen to prepare meals: organic, hormone-free meats and other natural ingredients. It’s a frozen meal that I can feel good about eating!
