I was very intrigued when I first heard about Gaiam TV. It’s kind of like a Netflix for wellness, spiritual, health, and fitness videos. In fact, there are over 2,000 titles to choose from when you login to your Gaiam TV account! Instructors include Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Jillian Michaels, Mari Winsor, and Kathryn Budig. I have always enjoyed Mari Winsor’s Pilates videos, so I am so excited she is included!
There are several aspects of Gaiam TV that I really love: the convenience, the selection of workouts, and the fact that it is a no commitment subscription service. As a stay at home parent who likes to workout, I think Gaiam TV provides a convenient, cost effective, and fun way to get in some cross-training at home!
I love having instant access to whatever fitness video I feel like doing at any given moments. As all of you parents are aware, time is precious and we don’t get much to ourselves any more. I will take what I can get, and if that means sneaking in a core workout at 9:30 at night, I’ll do it!
The sheer breadth of variety in the titles included in Gaiam TV is pretty impressive too. You can choose from several thousand titles including cardio workouts, Pilates, and yoga videos. The system allows you to filter workouts based on your fitness level, type of workout, instructor, and length. How cool? You can also create a playlist of your favorite go-to workouts.
Lastly, when you subscribe to Gaiam TV, you can do so with the ability to cancel at any time—there is no contract. For $9.95, you can get unlimited streaming content.
As a 30 Something Mother Runner reader, you can get a free 10 day trial to Gaiam TV by clicking HERE. The first 25 people to sign up will get a free yoga mat! So go ahead and try it out!
