There is a SUPER fun event for the whole family coming up in Boston (Copley Square) on June 20. Presented by the Boston Book Festival, the Hubbub Festival is a FREE all-day children’s arts festival that has something for everyone, but is geared toward ages 0-12.
While at the festival, children can enjoy STEM programming, workshops, wellness activities, puppet shows and meet fabulous children’s authors like headliner Mo Willems, Linda Urban, and Jeff Mack. You might even meet some of the most popular PBS characters including Martha from Martha Speaks and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Kids will be able to participate in yoga classes, learn tumbling and climbing with Esh Circus Arts, and much more. If your child is into creating art, check out the Art Installations (from found materials) in Copley Square or hone their writing skills with children’s book authors. There is even a creative arts workshop for babies and toddlers!
If music is your thing, you will be able to jam to Dan Zanes & Friends, the Henry Acker Gypsy Jazz Trio, and many more. There is truly something for every child on the packed Hubbub agenda!
Hubbub is the perfect way for the whole family to spend a Saturday in the Hub– it’s an event you don’t want to miss! For more information click HERE. Certain events require registration (FREE), so click HERE to see if you will need to register in advance for one of the workshops or performances. I am planning on attending with my husband and the 3 boys! 🙂
