One of the things that I’ve enjoyed most about getting older is feeling more comfortable and confident in my own skin. I think back to my younger years and marvel about all of the time I spent wondering what people thought of how I looked. What I could have done with all of that time spent stressing about my appearance!
Now that forty is right around the corner, and I have given birth to 3 beautiful, healthy children, I am confident and comfortable in this body of mine! It might not be as small as it was in my teens and twenties, but it’s strong and capable and I wouldn’t trade it for the world 🙂
Vera Wang Embrace Marigold and Gardenia
When I choose a fragrance, I like to find one that matches my personality. While, it can be hard to choose a fragrance– one that’s not too overbearing, but smells beautiful, it’s not impossible! I am loving the Vera Wang Embrace Marigold and Gardenia that I received a few months ago. It fits the bill perfectly!
I love the smell of gardenias– it always reminds me of my trips to Hawaii. Gardenias are often used in leis, and they smell truly divine! There are so many smells that you associate with memories; and for me, gardenias conjure up the image of a relaxing tropical vacation– perfect for a fragrance!
Vera Wang Embrace is soft and subtle, not too overpowering. I love the feminine, fruity and floral scent. The fragrance stayed with me the whole day and took me from school drop-off to a dinner out. Added bonus: at an average retail price of $29.99, it’s affordable!
