We had gorgeous weather this past weekend for Mother’s Day, and it was nice to get out and get some fresh air with the new baby! We are settling into our new routine as a family of five. William is still sleeping quite a bit of the day, and when he’s not sleeping he’s eating a ton! The boys are doing a great job adjusting–we have had some small struggles, but overall they are fantastic big brothers. They love to check in on Will and give him lots of kisses!
I have been really craving a run over the past week, since I finally feel physically normal again! 😉 I am going to wait until my six-week follow-up before starting up again, to be on the safe side. I have been doing some walking just to get out and get exercise. I am curious to see what my fitness level will be like when I run again. I am sure it’s going to feel like starting all over again, so if need be, I’ll do a modified run/walk program to get back into it. Right now, I just see other runners and get jealous!
On the home front, yesterday’s excitement was buying a new sleeper sofa and recliner for the den. My sister, brother-in-law and grandmother are visiting next month, and we needed a sleeper sofa to make sure we can accommodate everyone. I love the ones we chose, and I’m excited that they will be delivered next Tuesday! The nursery/guest room is almost complete. William has been in the co-sleeper in our room, so we’ve still got time to finish up the details. I can’t wait to see it when it’s completely finished.

In the meantime, if anyone needs me, I will be either a) feeding the baby b) changing diapers c) trying to work d) taking a nap or any combination of the above!
Oh that face!!! He’s just so precious!!! You will be back at it Jess and tearing up courses soon!
You look great mama! Make sure you’re getting that rest for you… inbetween everything else you have going on <3
