I’ve written on many occasions about my love of running skirts–once I started wearing them, I never looked back. For me, they are not only super cute, but much more comfortable than shorts. I tried a few different kinds, but I fell in love with Skirt Sports and their mission.
The company is all about providing cute AND comfortable workout gear for women, in addition to supporting them in their healthy lifestyle through programs like Kick Start. So you can imagine my excitement when I was asked to be a Skirt Sports Ambassador. I am pumped to help even more women “convert to skirt!”
My all-time favorite running skirt is the Marathon Chick skirt, but I CANNOT WAIT to try out the one I just ordered! 🙂 I am super excited to be able to share a discount code with YOU, so you can head on over and go shopping–whether you have already converted to skirt or if you have been thinking about it. In addition to skirts, Skirt Sports has a bunch of cute shirts and a line that was inspired by Katherine Switzer. You can use the code “SSSMR20” for 20% off your order!
In other news, we traveled to Portland, Maine last Thursday and Friday, and I will be sharing some of our adventures later this week on the blog. Stay tuned for some family fun- Maine style!
I had a beautiful run on the bike path yesterday, and I’m happy to report that the osprey have returned to their nests. The osprey that live in our town winter in Brazil and arrive back here on the Cape every year in the end of March. They are a welcome sign that spring has arrived! Although they have returned, I missed them on Sunday’s run. I keep obsessively checking the nests- total bird nerd! 🙂
How was YOUR weekend?
