You may recall a while back I wrote about Owl’s Brew and their DELICIOUS artisanal tea cocktail mixers. They are back with another equally tasty offering, the Owl’s Brew Radler, which recently launched here on the East Coast. I hadn’t heard of Radlers before trying Owl’s Brew, but I LOVE that they are tasty and lower in alcohol than many traditional adult beverages (for those of us who can’t quite hang the same way we used to! :-)).
What Exactly Is Owl’s Brew Radler?
A Radler is traditionally a mixture of half beer, half soda. Its name originates from the German word for bike– radler. The Radler was born in 1922 and formulated for cyclists (a refreshing adult beverage without too much alcohol, so you wouldn’t be too tipsy riding your bike!). Owl’s Brew decided to kick it up a notch and create the first one that combines craft beer with artfully brewed organic tea.
The Owl’s Brew Radler is a double brew: 60% craft beer and 40% organic teas. It’s sweetened with a touch of agave and flavored with other fresh botanicals. The result is three super tasty summer flavors: Wicked Watermelon (my favorite!), That’s My Jam, and The Blondie. Of course you can enjoy the Short and Stout all year long! All four beverages are 3.8% alcohol by volume.
Enjoy Some Good Clean Fun!
Good
A socially conscious beverage company, what’s not to love?! When you enjoy an Owl’s Brew Radler, you can feel good about the fact that the company donates 1% of its net revenue to clean water initiatives. After all, water makes up 80% of the earth (and the Radler!). I love supporting companies that give back– especially when it’s something absolutely essential for all of us!
Clean
Owl’s Brew beer and teas are made with real ingredients– you won’t find any artificial flavors or essences here! You definitely don’t need them with these tasty beverages, as they are perfectly delicious with their own natural flavors.
Fun
No need to explain this one! With summer right around the corner, there is no shortage of fun to be had. Whether you’re celebrating Father’s Day with a BBQ and outdoor games, enjoying a leisurely weekend brunch (no mimosa needed!), or hitting the beach for the first time of the season, take along a one-of-a-kind Owl’s Brew Radler and enjoy some good, clean fun! I choose to take mine along to the beach and out on the water. Where will you take yours? Click HERE to find out where you can purchase Owl’s Brew Radler.
