Embracing the Season with Traditional Medicinals Tea

FOOD/DRINK

Echinacea Tea with Lemon

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Acorn Influence. All writing, opinions and photography are my own. #TeaForAll

As a true New Englander, I do in fact love winter. I love curling up by the fire, watching snow fall and making comfort foods. One of my favorite ways to warm up and relax during the cold winter months is with a hot cup of tea– especially if I’m feeling the slightest bit under the weather!

Traditional Medicinal Teas

I have always been a fan of Traditional Medicinal Teas, so I was so happy to find them on the shelf at Walmart last week! If you’re not familiar with Traditional Medicinals, they use over 50 high quality teas to make beverages that are soothing and use plant power to help support your health (since 1974!)! In addition to making great tea, the company is environmentally and socially conscious (another reason I love them!).

Seasonal Teas

Traditional Medicinals have some wonderful seasonal teas that will come in handy during colder months, including the Organic Echinacea Plus, Organic Throat Coat and Breathe Easy. The Organic Echinacea is perfect for powering up your immune system, and it has a slightly minty taste (along with a little citrus). Echinacea (the purple coneflower) is a staple in our house for staying healthy during the colder winter months.

The Organic Throat Coat (my favorite!) has an earthy, and slightly licorice taste. It’s a godsend if you find yourself sidelined with a sore throat– which we seem to have had a lot of this fall and winter! When my throat starts to feel sore, a hot cup of Throat Coat always makes me feel better!

Breathe Easy is great when you feel stuffed up– it smells SO GOOD, and I love the addition of eucalyptus to the blend. In addition to the seasonal teas above, Traditional Medicinals makes a great Detox tea; it helps promote healthy liver function (which I’m sure we can all use after the holiday season!).

The next time you’re shopping in Walmart, head over to the tea aisle and pick up some Traditional Medicinals to get you through the winter season! You can also enter to win a $250 gift card to Walmart– enter below!
