A while back I posted about the delicious immersion dinner I went to at Deuxave, courtesy of Hood cream. I love that, in addition to a variety of very tasty recipes, there are also two different seasonal menus: a summertime tasting menu (which includes the über delicious Heirloom Tomato Soup we tasted at Deuxave and Spring Carbonara) and a holiday spread (with items like Pumpkin Bisque and Pork Loin with Apples). One of the other reasons I love this particular E-Cookbook is that after each recipe, Chef Coombs adds his own personal notes including tips on preparing the recipe and what inspired him to create the dish. There are also some very cool interactive features of the E-Cookbook including the “cook-view” mode, which allows you to click on the Step-by-Step Recipe button. Doing so, takes you to a simple list of steps for recipe preparation that you can use when you prop your iPad up on the counter while cooking! There are also integrated social sharing buttons that allow you to share your favorite recipes with your friends with the click of a button.
