On Saturday we headed to Edaville Railroad for the Day Out With Thomas. We didn’t make it last year, but this year the ages of the boys actually worked out perfectly!
We got to Edaville right before our 10 o’clock train ride. It was a beautiful day and in the 70s. The boys were really into the train ride and seeing the Thomas engine and the whole Day Out with Thomas experience!
After our train ride, we did a few of the amusement rides and then hit the ball pit and indoor activities. The thing that I love about Edaville is that it really is geared toward younger children, down to the rides. The boys had such a great time and passed out in the car before we even got out of the parking lot!
Saturday got even better when I got to go pick up my new iPad. I am loving my new toy, and it is making the management of my new social media consulting practice much easier. I think I’m in love.

On Sunday, we woke up early and went to the beach for some fun in the sun. My husband brought the kayak down, and each of the boys got to take a turn paddling around the cove. They loved being on the water, and it makes me so happy to see them love the water as much as I do! In fact, C had so much fun that he fell asleep on the beach (see picture).

This week is going to be pretty busy with several new client meetings, so I am going to make an effort to get my runs out of the way in the mornings. I really hope I can stick to that, since it just seems like they don’t happen if I wait until my husband comes home from work…
Wish me luck with the early morning runs—I need you guys to keep me accountable!
How is the trail in Falmouth in the early morning? I was thinking of running with the dualie there this week. Oh and please teach me how to put a child to sleep at the beach!!! I need to learn how to get Aubrey to sleep so we don’t have to leave!!!
Beebe Woods has one pretty steep section, and other than that I would say it’s pretty stroller friendly! As for the sleep, some how we got lucky with C! He will sleep anywhere, and I mean anywhere! 😉
