I cannot wait to test out the latest addition to my shoe collection: The Lone Peak. The LPs are a trail shoe that I have been dying to try, and they just so happened to arrive while I was away in San Diego.
I took them out of the box and instantly fell in love with the color combo—I know seriously, huh? Aside from the color combo, the Lone Peaks sport all of the awesome Altra Zero Drop features in addition to a toe bumper, stone guard, trail rudder, and heel claw.
I am sincerely hoping that I will be able to sneak out for a birthday trail run on Friday, so I can test these babies out! I will let you know what I think after I take them for a test run,
In shocking weather news, we are expecting more snow today. I proudly call myself a New Englander, but I will say that I am about done with the snow for this winter.
I am thinking of doing the Seagull Six this Sunday (it’s actually 5.74 miles), If I do, I don’t really have a set goal, rather I would like to keep it under 8-minute miles. We’ll see what happens—hopefully I get to toe the line!
I am an Ambassador for Altra Zero Drop shoes.
How do these Altra shoes look on your feet? I’m thinking about getting them but haven’t seen any good images of how they actually look on someone.
There are some pics of mine on my Facebook fan page. If you can’t find them there, I can post a few 🙂
I wasn’t able to see them on the facebook page, could you post a few, please?
