This morning Baby Morrison and I will be headed to the office for bi-weekly appointment and a growth ultrasound. There are no worries about the baby being really big, I guess it’s standard practice at this office to do a growth ultrasound for mothers of the dreaded “advanced maternal age.” They seriously need to get rid of that term! 😉

It’s funny that when people ask when I am due I keep saying the end of April, but now I can finally say the end of next month–scary and exciting at the same time. When people ask if you are ready, my reply is always “Are you ever really ready?” I am still in awe of the fact that I will be the mother of three in a matter of weeks!
I have started unearthing more baby equipment in the past few weeks. There are some things that need to replaced and/or updated, so I am working on that right now. I have decided to buy a sling in addition to my Ergo baby carrier. I think it will be nice to have the sling for the earlier months. I have been checking out the Sakura sling–have any of you used it?
The nursery is progressing quickly. We are just finishing up with having the painting prep work done and all of the floors sanded. The room has old (1820s) wide boards that were covered with 4-5 coats of nasty paint. They are now all sanded down and ready to be stained with polyurethane. I am dying to see what they look like when they’re done—squee! We plan to start painting this Sunday. I am so glad the work is getting close to completion, since we don’t have that much longer! 🙂

You look FABULOUS! And those floors are going to be amazing!!!!
YES, get the sakura! they are amazing! i love it!!! also, you look great and this “advanced maternal age” term is NUTS!
Aww, thanks Candice! I just ordered the Sakura linen sling from Bellani–can’t wait to use it! 🙂
