Like many other schools, the boys’ elementary school collects Box Tops (each box top is worth 0.10) to help offset the cost of many school activities. One of the many things we love about our school is the extracurricular activities and the enriching field trips the students take that help extend their learning outside of the classroom.
Each year the school has a collection for Box Tops, in addition to monthly sheets that are sent home to encourage students to collect Box Tops and return them to school. The boys love cutting them out and taping them to the monthly sheets– it’s a healthy competition to see who can fill the sheet first! 🙂
Some of the many activities that Box Tops have helped with in our school include student government programs, field trips to the zoo, Martha’s Vineyard and local plays, in addition to many other activities coordinated by our PTO.
