30 Something Mother Runner received a BOB Revolution® PRO for the purpose of this review. All opinions and writing are 100% my own.
I got my first glimpse of the BOB Revolution® PRO at Baby Palooza this summer, and I couldn’t wait to try it out myself! The BOB Revolution® PRO debuted this past summer, along with the Revolution FLEX. I have really enjoyed using this BOB for running, walking, and general use around town. Here’s my full review:
First impressions of the BOB Revolution PRO
I love the color and sleek design of the BOB Revolution® PRO (I chose the Wilderness color). It’s very streamlined– perfect for the more competitive runner. I also noticed that this BOB has a great sun shade, with a substantial peek a boo window to see baby/toddler/big kid when strolling.

Assembly
One of the things I like about the BOB Revolution® PRO is that the only assembly I needed to do was to put on the wheels. How easy is that?! I couldn’t believe it arrived in the box, already assembled. I guess I’m just used to having to put things together, so it was a pleasant surprise!
Features
Adjustable Handlebar
One of the best features of this stroller is the adjustable handle bar. I love that I can go for a run with the BOB Revolution® PRO, and I can then hand it over to my husband to adjust the handles to his height for a walk downtown. You just pop in the two red buttons and adjust to your desired height. Also on the handle bar, you will find a hand brake. The hand brake is especially helpful on steep hills, and it gives you more peace of mind if you need to stop in a hurry!
Tires and Suspension
The pneumatic tires are the perfect size and work well on the road, trail, and beach. The adjustable suspension kept William from bouncing around too much when we went over uneven terrain. The seat is padded and sports a five point harness for added safety. You can adjust the seat to raise or recline it according to your child’s preference.
Storage Basket
The low boy storage basket was relatively easy to access and provided a moderate amount of storage for items. Although the basket was not quite as large as some, there is an additional pocket on the back of the seat and two internal mesh pockets for your child’s drink/snacks/toys.
The stroller does not come with a parent organizer, snack tray, or weather shield– these items must be purchased separately. I use the Skip Hop Grab & Go Stroller Organizer with my other strollers, and it is fully compatible with the BOB.

Folding
The BOB Revolution® PRO is very easy to fold–with 2 easy steps, it’s folded and ready to stow in the car. As with other jogging strollers, you can lock the front wheel when you are running for better control. It also has a leash to keep the stroller from running away, should your hand slide off the handle bar. The stroller leash also functions as a method of locking up the stroller when it’s folded.
Overall Impression
I have to say that I truly love this stroller. It’s so versatile, and both my 4 month-old and my 4-year-old fit comfortably in it (separately of course!). My 4 year-old is in the 70th percentile for height and fits in the stroller just fine, so it would be a great stroller to grow with. It also comes in a Duallie® two-seat model. If you would like to use the BOB Revolution® PRO right away for walking, you can purchase the car seat adapter

Would you use this as an everyday stroller or is it too large?
You can definitely use it as an everyday stroller. It’s not as compact when folded, as a regular stroller, but easy to fold nonetheless. I use mine running and for everyday use. 🙂
Thanks so much for coming back to me. I’ve read a couple of reviews that say it’s far too reclined to use as every day? Would you agree re the recline?
It doesbt go as upright as s traditional stroller, but my 6 month old doesn’t see to mind 🙂
Hi Jessica,
I wanted to ask your opinion on how the pro handles on uneven terrain such as a dirt road hiking trail with lots of uneven surface? I want to get a bob stroller and plan on taking my son hiking with me but was uncertain if I should buy the sport utility model? I like the idea of the handle bar on the pro and the pivoting wheel which the utility model has neither. Would you say the pro model can handle a hike really well?
Thanks so much and thanks for writing this post
Hi Robin! I think it could handle a hike as well as the Sport Utility, with the benefit of keeping the front wheel locked or unlocked. I also like that it has the hand brake for steep hills! Hope this helps! 🙂
