I felt like a kid at Christmas unboxing my NutriBullet Select™, and no– I’m not kidding! We like to make smoothies and protein shakes for the whole family, and I was getting frustrated lugging out the giant blender every time I wanted to make a smoothie or one of the boys wanted one!
Not only was the blender a pain in the neck to clean, but it took up a lot of space in my corner cabinet. The older I get, the more I enjoy appliances that are multifunctional and space-saving. Thankfully the NutriBullet Select is all of the above, and you can grab your own exclusively at Walmart!
The NutriBullet Select™
The NutriBullet Select comes with a motorized based, blender attachment for slightly larger mixtures, a tall smoothie cup, and a short smoothie cup. There is also a travel lid, so you can blend your smoothie, pop on the top and take it to go! I love that it has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from moving around on the countertop. Another bonus: the light will not turn green until the blender top is secure and ready to go, so no more unexpected messes (I have enough of those with a 3-year-old in the kitchen)!
This 950 watt NutriBullet Select has 3 settings: pulse, blend and crush, so you can make salsas, dips, smoothies, soups and even shave ices or slushies! It’s definitely being put to good use in our home for all of the above. Since smoothies are a favorite (and a great way to get extra fruits and veggies into the boys!), I wanted to share my Black Forest Smoothie recipe!
Black Forest Smoothie
Cherries are full of antioxidants, and they’re a change-up from the more traditional mixed berry blend. I like to make my smoothies with unsweetened almond milk, but you can use any milk you like. I listed the 1/2 banana as optional because it’s mainly there to add a little more sweetness and texture to the smoothie. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Now go grab your NutriBullet Select at Walmart! 🙂
