I did a quick recovery run of 3 miles yesterday. to try to get the lead out of my legs! They were still pretty sore, but they felt better after a run, and I’m hoping that they will be in Turkey trotting shape tomorrow! I am going to do the Chase the Turkey trail race in Beebe Woods. It’s 4.2 miles through the woods, and it sounds like a fabulous idea before digging in to Thanksgiving. I’ve always wanted to do it, but this will be my first year. I am not planning on running hard in this trot, just getting out for some exercise in the woods!
Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I decided to put up the first decoration in our house.–a beautiful, aromatic wreath from Creekside Farms. On Monday, I opened up the Fragrant Pod wreath, and I immediately fell in love with the smell of the eucalyptus. I love its relaxing aroma, so I was excited to see it in my wreath. The wreath was packaged very well, and it arrived in perfect shape and ready to hang.
