Happy Monday! I know, I still cant’ believe it’s Monday again already! Although I was sad to not be running the Cape Cod Half marathon this weekend (damn toenail removal!), it was so beautiful here. I went for two shorter trail runs in Beebe Woods with my greyhound, and it felt great to be running again. I just did a few miles to make sure it wasn’t irritating my nail bed. I promise to be smart and not push it! 😉
I am super excited to share that I recently became an Armpocket ambassador. Armpocket armbands are a great way to carry your smart phone, ID, money, GU, and anything other small items you usually carry along on your run! I tested out the model for the Samsung Galaxy S5. The arm band comes in 3 different sizes: small, medium, and large, so you are ensured of the proper fit.
The band is comfortable and stays in place, thanks in part to the no-slip memory foam in the band. It’s also vented, which is great for people who sweat a lot (like me!). Another thing I love about the Armpocket armband is the generous amount of space in the “pocket.” You can definitely squeeze some cash, an ID, a key, and some GU in there. There is also a small velcro attachment to keep your headphone wires from getting tangled around the armband or your arm.
The Armpocket armband comes in a number of different sizes for every kind of phone imaginable, in addition to a great variety of colors. You can also find one that will accommodate the protective case on your smart phone. The band is weather proof, sweat proof, water resistant, and machine washable (also a plus for the super sweaty!). The band is also environmentally friendly– it’s made from recyclable PET fibers and natural bamboo rayon.
If you run in the dark, but still want to bring your phone with you, there are Armpocket armbands with reflective striping and LED lights. So head over to the website and check out Armpocket armbands. You can use the discount code 5OFFJM for $5 off a cart total of $49.95+. The code is valid until November 12, 2014.
