It’s fall y’all! Fall means the crockpot is back with a vengeance in our house. Although the weather has been a little more like summer this week, cooler fall evenings aren’t that far away! It’s the perfect solution to busy weeknights with after-school and no time to cook. It’s also a great air freshener for your house! 🙂 In honor of the arrival of fall, I decided to put together a round-up of some delicious fall-inspired crockpot recipes.
Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Crumble
Apple desserts are always a sure sign of fall, and it’s fun to try desserts in the crockpot if you haven’t done so yet! Top with some whipped cream of serve à la mode.
Applewood Cider Slow Cooker Chicken
You can’t go wrong with apple flavors in the fall!
Best Ever Beef Stew
Beef stew is a hearty New England favorite that is a great comfort food for chillier evenings!
Sweet Pumpkin Chili
Chili is another great fall comfort food that is a family favorite in our household. Adding pumpkin gives your chili a big nutritional boost without changing the flavor!
Crock Pot Roast with Vegetables
Any crockpot meal that will allow me to cook EVERYTHING in the crockpot is a total win in my book! The beauty of this recipe is that you could substitute a variety of fall vegetables in lieu of the standard carrots, celery, and potatoes. Why not try parsnips, rainbow carrots (check your local Trader Joes for these!) or sweet potatoes to get even more nutritional bang for your buck!
